STEP ONE

Create an account.

Signing up takes less than 30 seconds and there is no cost to do so. Once your profile is created, you will be able to add additional program and specific center information.

STEP TWO

Post your needs.

You will have the option to post both permanent and temporary roles. Once your roles are posted, Tandem can begin looking for the best fit worker.

STEP THREE

Confirmation of worker and schedule.

You will be notified via email when Tandem confirms a worker for your job. You will receive all of their information, including their profile and compliance file.

STEP FOUR

Confirmation of worker and schedule.

You will be notified via email when Tandem confirms a worker for your job. You will receive all of their information, including their profile and compliance file.

STEP FIVE

Worker works scheduled shift(s).

Once a shift(s) is scheduled, the worker will attend their shift. For permanent roles, the worker will begin their 120 hour trial run. Once a shift is completed, the worker will be paid via Tandem. You will be charged weekly.

Utilizing temporary staff keep you in ratio and in compliance.

Find a substitute teacher through Tandem to fill a gap in a classroom, give your teachers an extra hand, or cover an employee's vacation.

Last Minute Call Offs

You can request same-day workers when you're in a bind. We utilize a standby list to always know who is available last minute, allowing us to fill your most dire needs.

Extended Leaves

We can match you with a worker for an extended period of time when you have a planned leave or gap in coverage. These jobs can last a few weeks or a few months.

Time Off

Let us help you give your permanent staff members the time off that they need. We'll provide temporary coverage so you can stay staffed.

A new approach to permanent hiring:

Trial Runs

Post your Trial Run with your schedule, requirements, and preferences.

You'll be able to specify any credentials you require the worker to have. This may include a certain level of education, years of experience, etc.

Tandem pairs you with a worker that is the best possible match.

To find you the best possible match, our Matching Specialists and technology-based solution will match your job's schedule and requirements to a worker that fulfills the criteria.

Once confirmed, the 120 hour Trial Run will begin.

You will be notified once we have made a match and you will receive the schedule and worker's compliance documents via email. The worker will then start their 120 hour Trial Run.

At the end of the Trial Run, you can onboard the worker to your staff.

Once the worker completes the 120 hours, you can onboard them to your staff as a permanent employee. You will not pay Tandem any additional fee to onboard the worker.
